geografia is holding an exhibition and sale at TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI on Keyakizaka-dori in Roppongi Hills.
The exhibition is currently being held in the corner at the back of the shop on the first floor that houses FINE ART / PHOTOGRAPH – photograph collections and art books.

Here, a variety of highly specialized books mixed in with foreign books are sold. The shop is adjacent to Starbucks, and is a new concept – patrons can enjoy a cup of coffee as they take their time browsing the books.

Geografia’s ready-to-assemble globe is introduced at the Making Use of Surfaces in Design - Design Geometry: It’s Appeal and Wonder - exhibition held at Design Wave in Toyama.

At this exhibition, particular attention is focused on the appeal of creating surfaces; it provides a close-up on the relationship between surfaces, geometry and contemporary design that proves fascinating for those who create things.

The Toyama Product Design Competition 2010 exhibition of works from the competition can be viewed in conjunction with the exhibition.

On August 1, a workshop was held in the Watarium Museum of Contemporary Art museum shop on sundays.

DRILL DESIGN headed up the workshop; participants colored countries following a quiz style discourse, and while putting together their globes, they learned about the earth and geography.

The workshop was a great success; parents and children all enjoyed themselves, with discoveries made of things that even adults thought they knew but didn’t.
